Anne started her dance training when she was five years old at the Stroia Ballet Studio in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She moved to Washington in 1997 to pursue a career in dance and graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in 2002. She has worked with local choreographers including,
Paige Barnes, Aiko Kinoshita, Kristina Dillard, and Scott Phillips. Anne performed her own
choreography in the Under Construction series at Velocity Dance Center, as well as performed
in a performance art exhibit created by Trisha Brown called Floor of the Forest. Aside from
dancing with NorthWest Dance Syndrome, Anne spends most of her time teaching dance and
enjoys being a mom to her son Jack. She teaches many forms of dance including creative
movement, modern, ballet and jazz. She works at Country Village Day School, Momentum
Dance Academy, Studio1, and eXit SPACE School of Dance.
