Classroom Ettiquette Please remember to offer these courtesies and encourage your student in them as well: · Turn off cell phones in lobby and studios while attending class. · No talking or horseplay.

Professional Appearance In order to create and maintain a professional training environment, all students are required to observe the following: · Strictly follow dress code for your level! No extra warm-ups. · Ballet I and up: Hair must be in a bun! Students will be asked to leave class to do hair properly if they do not arrive in a bun. · See attached sheet for further instruction on proper ballet hair. |

Improvisational Theatre Improvisational theatre is a form of theatre in which performers use improvisational acting techniques to perform spontaneously. The instructor will guide the exercises and classroom skits as they create dialog, setting, and plot extemporaneously. The basic skills of listening, clarity, confidence, and performing instinctively and spontaneously are emphasized.

Attention Parents: Don’t forget about our “Refer-a-friend” program. Receive a $10 credit towards your tuition payment when a friend registers for a music and/or dance lesson and mentions that you referred them to Momentum! |

Bring a Friend to Dance Class Week will be from October 15 through October 20th.
Each guest will be invited to dance with the rest of the class, and will receive a special gift from Momentum Music and Dance Academy for participating. |

Guest dancers may wear dance clothing, or comfortable clothes, dance shoes, or socks. Guest musicians may come dressed in the outfit of their choice. (No jeans, baggy pants, shorts, skirts, halter tops or crop t-shirts). Come prepared to have fun! |
