Text Box: Hip Hop/Jazz Fusion
The best of both worlds! Classical jazz techniques mixed in with the edgy, funkiness of Hip Hop will keep you moving from start to finish. Bring your water bottle and get ready to challenge yourself technically and stylistically. These classes are designed for more intermediate and advanced dancers.
Text Box: Storybook Acting
Story Acting uses physical warm-up, character exploration, and acting games to delve into dramatic performance. The activities lead up to the reading of a special children’s book. The text is then performed by the students with special attention paid to the characters in addition to the narrative. The class is typically wrapped up with an art activity which allows for personal reflection. Some examples of stories used in Story Acting are: Olivia, Curious George, and The Snow Child.
