Strawberry Festival: Saturday, June 20th
Momentum
Music & Dance Academy has been invited to perform at the Burien Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 20th, 2009. We would like for your class to perform.
We are excited your child will be performing at this year's Strawberry Festival. Please meet us in the Green Room in the Burien Community Center, at 11AM on Saturday, June 20th. The drop-off location is the Pink Gate.
This can be accessed through the Orange Gate which is at the church parking lot located near 6th Avenue SW & SW 146th Street, behind the community center. An attendant will direct you to the Pink Gate which is up the hill and behind the main stage. Once you have dropped off your child, you can find parking in the surrounding area, including the library parking lot across the street.
"The Sleeping Beauty":
Presented by all ballet students on July 1 & 2 at the Highline Performing Arts Center.
"5,6,7,8":
Presented by all tap, modern, jazz, broadway, hip hop and hip hop jazz fusion students on June 23 at Highline PAC.
"Irish, Live!":
Presented by all Irish dance students on June 24 at the Renton IKEA Center.

New Summer Schedule and Summer Camps
Momentum
offers exciting and challenging summer arts programs for motivated students who wish to
develop and refine their artistic skill. Participants can choose from weekly dance classes or week-long
fine and performing arts camps. This year we will be offering two separate sessions with Summer I
running July 6th to July 25th and Summer II running July 27th through August 15th. View Summer Schedule

Picture Days and Dress Rehearsals
This year, Season Finale pictures will be taken during dress rehearsals
at the Highline Performing Arts Center.
“5,6,7,8...” and “Irish, Live!”
students will take pictures at the “5,6,7,8...” dress rehearsal on
Monday, June 22nd.
Ballet students performing in “The Sleeping
Beauty” will have their pictures on their respective dress rehearsal
date: June 29th for July 1st cast and June 30th for the July 2nd cast.
Dance students will be provided with a schedule indicating the specific
time for their class picture. Please make every effort to ensure your
dancer is present and in costume! Affordable professional photographs
will be provided by Burien Studio. Order forms will be available in
early June.
DVDs Orders for Performances
Order forms will be available in June and at all of the peformances. Costs will vary by performance.

Questions About What to Wear?
Momentum Music & Dance Academy has a dance class dress code. If you haven't picked up a dress code flyer from the studio, it is available online. Leotards and tights are available for purchase at the reception area for your convenience.
New Classes
Many new classes have been added to the schedule this year, including Group Music Classes, new Musical Theatre classes, and Hip Hop Jazz Fusion.
