Dance Academy:
Class & Private Dance Lessons 
Momentum Music & Dance Academy is dedicated to providing professional dance instruction in a caring and nurturing environment to students of all ages. We are committed to offering a well-rounded program to our students; from the wonderful techniques and disciplines of classical ballet, jazz, tap, modern, Irish, tumbling, pilates and yoga to the fun and exciting contemporary styles of hip hop, ballroom and broadway theatre dance.
The Dance Academy is divided into 4 levels:
- The Lower Level dance classes are beginning or pre levels for toddlers through kindergarten.
- The Middle Level dance classes are
for grades 1-6 (elementary school age).
- The Upper Advanced Level dance classes are advanced for junior high and high school ages.
- The Teen/Adult Classes are typically beginner level classes for ages 13 and above.
We offer a wide range of class dance lessons in addition to private lessons for boys and girls of all ages.
This Fall Quarter, we are excited to offer several new classes such as Pre Ballet Tap for Boys, Storybook Acting, Hip Hop Jazz Fusion.

• University-Trained Teachers
Our instructors are highly qualified and many have extensive performance experience. More importantly, our instructors strive to relate their teaching to each individual student's learning style.
• Professional Teaching Environment
Our facility contains three large, separate dance studios; a dressing room; a breakroom; and a waiting area/lobby. Our insulated, private studios limit distractions and produce better results since they focus attention on learning dance. Our dance studios are equipped with Marley Dance Floors (professional sprung floor) to reduce the risk of injuries and allow students to dance longer without getting tired. In addition, all rooms are monitored on a regular basis through a closed circuit surveillance system. This gives management an opportunity to observe lessons from a central location to ensure quality.
• Small Class Sizes
Our smaller class sizes allow each student to receive more personalized attention and make sure that no fundamental concepts are being missed. Class sizes are limited based on age.
• Hassle-Free Performances
Most dance students are involved in a year end performance. It can be a very hectic time for students and their parents. Parents are often required to help out at rehearsals and backstage during the performance. We offer a "Hassle-Free" performance experience for everyone. Students are only asked to attend a small amount of extra rehearsals in order to prepare for their performance. In addition; we have staff members and community volunteers for each rehearsal and performance. This gives the parents the opportunity to come, relax, and watch their child’s performance, without having to worry about the "details". Our parents are also kept very well informed with emails, website documents, phone calls and personalized handouts.
• Customer Service & Class Time
In many studios, the teacher or the studio owner conducts classes and does the administration. By trying to do two jobs at once, the class may suffer as the teacher has to use class time for customer service issues, or the studio may have no customer service available if the teacher is in a class. To have a good experience, it is important to choose a studio that can assist you with details like costumes or schedules, even if a teacher is occupied in a class. Our studio has office staff on hand during all regular class times, so you can get immediate assistance.
